TRAVEL TO SERBIA

Before traveling to the Republic of Serbia, please read the general entry requirements. Citizens of the People’s Republic of China holders of the passport of the People’s Republic of China who are traveling to the Republic of Serbia do not need visas (up to 30 days).
For longer stay in Serbia it is requested to apply for visa, before the trip. Visas can be requested by submitting an application to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
Foreign nationals who have a valid Schengen visa, UK visa or other European Union member-states visa may enter the Republic of Serbia without a visa and stay no longer than 90 days within six month period. The possibility of entering the Republic of Serbia without a visa is valid beginning November 8th, 2014.

TYPES OF VISAS

1) Short Stay visa (Visa C)
2) Long Stay visa (Visa D)


VISA C ( Short stay in Serbia up to 90 days):

Short-stay visas are mainly issued for tourism, bussines as well as other travelling needs including a single, double or multiple entries into the Republic of Serbia.

The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a foreigner with a short-stay visa shall not exceed 90 days within a period of six months which began on the day of the first entry.

Short-stay visa can not be legal base for appllicants to apply for a temporary stay permit in Serbia unless if it is not provided by the Law.

VISA C REQIREMENTS:

Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days after planed time to leaveSerbia, and must have minimum 2 empty pages)
Photo (Size 3,5cm x 4,5 cm)
Completed visa application form (PDF) Form must be filled out clearly, in printed letters; the applicant must fill all columns/questions and state correct residential address For minor children the form is filled and signed by their parents).
Invitation letter – for private visit invitation letter has to be certified by the relevant
authority of the Republic of Serbia
- for business visit-  invitation letter by a company in Serbia stating  nature of the business and expected duration of the visit, as well as a letter from an Chinese company which you are representing (supporting letter)
- for a tourist visa- a proof of payment for the trip issued by a travel agency (voucher or other type of payment receipt)
Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia (for accommodation and food)
Health insurance –has to cover all time of stay in Serbia
Visa fee- Fee and actual costs for visa are 62 euros.

Citizens of the People’s Republic of China holders of the passport of the People’s Republic of China do not pay visa fee, they pay only handling costs for visa issuance in the amount of 2 euro (12 RMB).

Pakistani citizens’ holders of the passport of Islamic Republic of Pakistan do not pay visa fee, they pay only handling costs for visa issuance in the amount of 2 euro.


VISA D (Long Stay visa for a period of 90 to 180 days)

Visa D, for longer stay, is issued to a foreigner for staying in the territory of the Republic of Serbia for a period of 90 to 180 days. This visa is issued to a foreigner who intends to apply in the Republic of Serbia for a temporary residence permit.


VISA D REQIREMENTS:

Completed visa application form (PDF) Form must be filled out clearly, in printed letters; the applicant must fill all columns/questions and state correct residential address. For minor children the form is filled and signed by their parents).

Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days after planed time to leave Serbia, and must have minimum 2 empty pages)
Photo (Size 3,5cm x 4,5 cm)
Invitation letter
Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia (for accommodation and food)
Health insurance –has to cover all time of stay in Serbia
Visa fee- Fee and actual costs for visa are 32 euros
Citizens of the People’s Republic of China holders of the passport of the People’s Republic of China do not pay visa fee, they pay only amount of 2 euro for administrative expenses.

In addition to the above documents, depending on the purpose of the journey, for the type D visa, the following must also be enclose:

 


1. EMPLOYMENT IN REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

1.1. Certificate of registration of a legal entity, company, sports club or association or entrepreneur in R. Serbia
1.2. Work contract, business-technical cooperation contract, sports engagement or other document proving work engagement of a foreigner in R. Serbia.

2. EDUCATION, STUDY, INTERNATIONAL EXERCISE OF STUDENTS AND STUDENTS, PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE, SPECIALIYATION, SCIENTIFIC-RESEARCH WORK IN R. SERBIA

2.1. Certificate of enrolment in an accredited primary, secondary or higher education institution;
2.2. Excerpt from legal entity registration in R. Serbia;
2.3. Certificate of organization of professional practice and specialization;
2.4. A copy of the registration of a scientific research organization and a contract concluded with a scientific-research organization. 


3. FAMILY REUNION (spouse is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia)

3.1 Extract from the Register of Marriages, not older than 6 months;
3.2 In the case of extramarital community, a certificate of free marital status, statements of spouses and a certified statement from two witnesses about the partner’s community, proof of the joint address of the dwelling, an extract from the register of extra-marital communities, if they have a common child-an excerpt from the Birth Register for a child.


4. MEDICAL TREATMENT

4.1 Certificate of registration of Medical institution in Serbia;
4.2 Letter of Medical institution where is written place and planned period of treatment;
4.3 Certificate of registration of Social instuttion in Serbia.


5. REALESTATE OWNERSHIP

5.1. Extract from the real estate list (title deed)
5.2. Certified sales contract or gift contract;
5.3. Estate court decision or a court judgment.


Note: Incomplete applications can not be taken into consideration and will be returned to the applicants at their own expense.
