(Beijing, 6 December, 2012.) Delegation of the Government of the Serbian Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, paid an official visit to the southern Chinese province of Guangdong 26-30 November 2012. The delegation, lead by President of Government of Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic, included President of the Assembly of Vojvodina Istvan Pasztor, Provincial Secretary of Economy, Employment and Gender Equality Miroslav Vasin, Provincial Secretary for International Cooperation Branislav Bugarski, other officials of the Government and the Assembly of Vojvodina. They were accompanied by the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbian - Ambassador Miomir Udovicki and economic adviser Zoran Djordjevic. As part of the "Week of the international exchange and cooperation" manifestation, organized by province Guangdong, an agreement was signed on establishing friendly relations between the provinces of Vojvodina and Guangdong, which represents institutional and legal platform for further improving overall relations between the two regions in various fields. On this occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the P.R. of China Yang Jiechi delivered a speech in which he welcomed the establishment of cooperation between Guangdong and various regions in the world. During the stay in China, the delegation of Vojvodina visited cities Foshan and Shenzhen and discussed with Chinese partners the concrete possibilities for expanding cooperation.
